Kana Speed-Recognition is the most challenging of these games.
The game displays eight pairs of characters, and in each pair, one is a hiragana
and one is a katakana. You specify whether the two represent the same sound
(pronunciation) or not.
At first, set the time limit so that you can comfortably give your
answers with accuracy. Then, set increasingly challenging time limits so
that eventually you are reading kana at breathtaking speed!
In the example below, the player made two mistakes. The top line
was incorrectly marked as having two different sounds. Actually, the sounds
of the two kana are the same. On the third line, the sounds were incorrectly
marked as the same, but they are different.
